Changing Text Size

The text on this website can be made bigger or smaller. Your internet browser e.g. Google Chrome or Internet Explorer will tell you how to change the text size.

Please note that if you are using another internet browser that is not listed below, then look on your browser settings for instructions about how to change the font size.

Please note that for Apple MAC computers, there is a COMMAND key rather than the (Ctrl) control key.


Google Chrome

Click on Google Chrome and select the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner. You will now have a drop-down menu where you can select the + sign to make the text bigger, or the – sign to make the text smaller. Select one size that best fits your needs.

You can also use shortcut keys to adjust the size. You can make the size bigger by holding down the control key (Ctrl) and pressing the + key. You can make the size smaller by holding down the control key (Ctrl) and pressing the - key. If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse you can adjust the size by holding down the control key (Ctrl) and scrolling the wheel up to increase the font size or scroll the wheel down to decrease the font size. You can make the font back to the default size by holding control (Ctrl) and pressing 0.


Internet Explorer

Click on Internet Explorer’s Main Menu and click View > Text Size. You will now have a drop-down list of five sizes. Select one size that best fits your needs (size medium is the default).

You can also use shortcut keys to adjust the size. You can make the size bigger by holding down the control key (Ctrl) and pressing the + key. You can make the size smaller by holding down the control key (Ctrl) and pressing the - key. If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse you can adjust the size by holding down the control key (Ctrl) and scrolling the wheel up to increase the font size or scroll the wheel down to decrease the font size. You can make the font back to the default size by holding control (Ctrl) and pressing 0.


Firefox

Use Firefox’s Main Menu and select View > Text Size. You will now have a drop-down list which says Increase or Decrease. Select one size that best fits your needs.

Safari

Use Safari’s Main Menu and select View > Make Text Bigger or Smaller. Select one size that best fits your needs.

You can make the size bigger by holding down the COMMAND key and pressing the + key. You can make the size smaller by holding down the COMMAND key and pressing the - key. If you have a scroll wheel on your mouse you can adjust the size by holding down the COMMAND key and scrolling the wheel of your mouse up to increase the font size or scroll the wheel of your mouse down to decrease the font size. You can make the font back to the default size by holding COMMAND key and pressing 0.
